本科导师制环节招2020级本科生参与科创与科研

基本要求:
1、掌握ThinkPHP(或Spring MVC或SSH或其它语言开发框架)后端开发框架;
2、掌握HTML5、CSS3、JQuery、微信小程序等前端开发技术及其开发框架;
3、掌握机器学习基本算法基本原理,会用Python3相关库实现上述算法 ;
4、能够阅读英文文献;
5、有足够精力与毅力参与科创与科研。
6、了解机器学习常规算法。

导师制指导目标
1、 至少1篇CCF C类以上文章;
2、实现相关DEMO系统
3、完成发明专利撰写并提交

指导学生参加第十四届国际语义评测比赛(SemEval 2020)获得名次!

课题组大三学生姚胤楠带队组成人工智能自然语言处理研究小组,指导教师马坤副教授,在2020年3月参加了第十四届国际语义评测比赛(International Workshop on Semantic Evaluation; SemEval 2020),完成了任务12:Multilingual Offensive Language Identification in Social Media,并在该任务的评测中取得第15名成绩(15/82)。比赛详细报告

国际语义评测比赛由国际计算语言学会(ACL)下属的专门兴趣小组 SIGLEX 主办。国际语义评测大会SemEval是全球范围内影响力最强、规模最大、参赛人数最多的语义评测竞赛。除此之外,根据2019年Google Scholar Metrics的数据,发表在SemEval的文章在Computational Linguistics领域的影响力仅次于ACL/EMNLP/NAACL三大会,位于NLP会议、期刊中的第四位。ACL 作为目前世界上计算语言学和自然语言处理领域影响力最大的组织,其每年举办的国际语义评测比赛都吸引着世界各大顶尖高校的实验室和科技企业的研究人员,比赛中的每个任务都有数百个队伍报名参与。

在这一次比赛中,参赛队伍选择的任务关注的是检测社交媒体文本中的攻击性语言。对于“识别和分类社交媒体中的攻击性语言任务”。参赛队伍需要利用官方提供的训练数据集OLID(The Offensive Language Identification Dataset),训练出一个能鉴别用户发布的文本是否是“攻击性言论”的人工智能模型。

参赛学生选用了华盛顿大学西雅图分校保罗·艾伦(Paul G.Allen)计算机科学与工程学院和Facebook AI研究院在 2019 年 7 月共同发布的 A Robustly Optimized BERT Pretraining Approach(RoBERTa)模型。因为 RoBERTa模型的训练需要大量的算力,在参加比赛的过程中,指导教师马坤副教授为科研团队的学生提供了用于训练的计算资源,保证了模型训练的正常进行。参赛学生在预训练模型的基础上使用自己的数据进行训练和微调。并利用所学知识对预测结果进行分析,反复尝试以寻找最好的数据预处理方式和提高模型效果的方法。

参赛的学生表示,经过这次比赛,学习到了许多最前沿的人工智能、自然语言处理的知识。锻炼了代码能力和团队协作能力,对自然语言处理问题有了更多的经验。

After 1 year' review, another CCPE paper (CPE-18-0193, RSCVC: Row-based Semantic Cache With Incremental Versioning Consistency) is accepted. Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience (CCPE) is a CCF C journal.

SigCSE China paper is accepted.

A new paper is accepted by the SigCSE track of ACM TURC 2019. The ACM TURC 2019 (SIGCSE China) conference is a leading international forum at the intersection of computer science and the learning sciences, seeking to improve practice and theories of CS education.

After 9 months' review, another Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence (EAAI) paper (SOCO-D-17-01236, Improving the effectiveness of keyword search in databases using query logs) is published. Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence is a JCR Q2 journal.

After 10 months' review, another SoftComputing paper (SOCO-D-17-01236, Stream-based Live Public Opinion Monitoring Approach with Adaptive Probabilistic Topic Model) is accepted. Soft Computing is a CCF C journal.
